Cross Country Nurses is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in a high-volume academic facility. The position supports obstetric and neonatal care in a Level IV unit with 24-hour obstetrician and NICU oversight. The RN will assist with over 500 deliveries per month in a comprehensive maternal setting.

Shift is 12-hour nights, with a minimum of 36 hours weekly. ADN required; Nevada RN licensure; BLS, NRP, ACLS; 2+ years L&D/perinatal experience; BSN and 3–5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nevada licensure; BLS certification; Neonatal Resuscitation program certification; Advanced Life Support certification; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; 3–5 years perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service; STABLE certification; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is located in an academic and high-volume maternal care facility. The role involves providing obstetric and neonatal care in a fast-paced, high-risk environment with extensive coverage including 24-hour attending obstetrician, anesthesia, and NICU oversight. The nurse will be responsible for supporting over 500 deliveries per month in a comprehensive Level IV Maternal Designation unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing; Nevada licensure; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Neonatal Resuscitation program certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics; Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service; S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Additional Information: The RN will function in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms, 6 C-section suites, 14 Triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored Antepartum rooms. The role supports a teaching environment with large private obstetric practices and services a high-risk, fast-paced delivery volume with dedicated coverage for obstetrics, anesthesia, and neonatal intensive care.
