American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Keene, New Hampshire. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, ASAP start, traveling position.

Applicants must hold an active NH or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and have at least 1.5 years of recent ICU experience including telemetry and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma exposure. CCRN is preferred. Local candidates are not required.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent ICU experience, including telemetry and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 10-bed ICU providing care for critically unstable adult medical/surgical patients.
• Patient population includes those with acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics.
• RN-to-patient ratio is 2:1 or 1:1 based on patient acuity and RN experience.
• 12-hour rotating day shifts with every other weekend required.
• Rotating holiday shifts.
• Unit utilizes advanced cardiac monitoring systems and critical care equipment.
• Responsibilities include continuous assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention for patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Must work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive critical care.
• Supportive team environment emphasizing total patient care and family support.
• First time travelers are not specifically precluded from consideration.
