Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least two years of recent critical care experience, EPIC proficiency, and a NH or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-bed ICU caring for adolescent to geriatric patients
• Must be proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
• Experience with arterial lines required
• May be required to float to PCU
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Block scheduling is not available
• Travelers are required to work two of the following holiday sets: Thanksgiving and its weekend, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and its weekend, or New Year's Eve/Day and its weekend
• Charge and preceptor experience is a plus
• Travelers must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered, and requests must be submitted at the time of application
• All required medical and occupational health compliance must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Standard dress code and hospital protocols apply

Requirements
