Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Lodi, California. This position requires a 12-hour shift and 36 hours per week, offering travel benefits and competitive compensation.

The Coronary Care RN will coordinate care for critically ill patients, respond to codes, and collaborate with hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. California RN license and ACLS may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license in state where the nurse will be practicing
• 2 years of cardiac care experience preferred
• ACLS may be required per state/client contract
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Coronary Care Registered Nurse coordinates nursing care for critically ill patients in the unit.
• Responds to codes and emergent situations as part of the hospital team.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership with other staff to maintain nursing standards in the ICU/CCU setting
