Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lodi, CA. The CVICU RN will coordinate delivery of nursing care for critically ill patients, respond to codes, and lead patient and family teaching in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, 2 years of cardiac care experience (CCRN/CMC/PCCN certifications preferred), ACLS as required, current CPR, and the ability to meet regulatory

Qualifications

Location: Lodi, CA

The Coronary Care Registered Nurse is a professional nursewho coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill,post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamicstabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. The Registered Nurse responds to codes andemergent situations as a team member within the hospital. The Registered Nurse participates in patientand family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively withancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards ofprofessional nursing practice in the intensive care/coronary care setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• RN License in state which the nurse will be practicing
• 2 years of cardiac care experience preferred
• CCRN, CMC or PCCN certifications preferred
• ACLS may be required per state/client contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
