Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking enthusiastic nurses for a 13-week travel assignment in New Mexico. Positions feature 12-hour shifts with competitive wages and a housing stipend. We welcome multi-state licenses and new graduates for on-the-spot interviews.

We are staffing for LPNs at $45/hour and RNs at $50/hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Contract employees receive these benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serves as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatment per facility policy; follow physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manages nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency use.
• Assesses the work performance of nursing staff against unit standards.
• Conducts regular staff meetings on each shift and provides updates to DON.
