Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Philadelphia, PA. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with dayshift.

The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and capture images using a scanner under radiologist supervision. Applicants must have ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience, plus any required state licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nuclear medicine experience.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification required.
• State licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
• Position patients and instruct for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety and disposal procedures.
