Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Omaha, NE. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them to patients, and operate imaging equipment, with duties under radiologist supervision.

This travel role lasts about 13 weeks and requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT and state licensing where required. The position calls for 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures and provide assistance during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety and radiation disposal procedures.
