Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The position requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT(N) and NMTCB-CNMT certification, and state licensing where required.

You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging with a scanner under radiologist supervision. The role involves patient preparation, safety protocols, accurate record-keeping, and operation of the PACS system.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certifications.
• State licensing when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and follow radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Record patient data accurately and maintain records.
• Follow safety and radiation disposal procedures.
