Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in Minot, ND. ARRT/NMTCB registration is required, with licensing support if applicable. The role involves general Nuclear Medicine imaging, IV access, and radiopharmaceutical administration under Radiologist direction.

Shifts are 5x8 AM, 40 hours per week, with no on-call requirements. Travel experience is required and Cerner experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registration, or registry pending
• NDMIRTBE license or temporary license if applicable
• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
• Recent travel experience required
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department performing mostly general imaging studies
• Stress tests, HIDA, Bone, and PET/CT experience helpful but not required
• 5x8 AM shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract length
• Performs Nuclear Medicine studies, and prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under Radiologist direction
• Performs quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment per hospital policy
• Follows radiation safety techniques and policies for receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive material
• Responsible for proper charging of procedures through the hospital information system
• Local candidates not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
