Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital setting requiring CNMT, NMTCB, and 2+ years of nuclear cardiology experience.

The role includes acute imaging procedures with cardiac, renal, pulmonary, and bone studies, using Philips and Siemens systems, within a teaching hospital network.

Qualifications include ARRT (N) or ARRT (R) with licensure if applicable, BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency, with 5x8 hour shifts and floating as needed.

• ARRT certification required; license if applicable
• BLS certification required
• 2+ years nuclear cardiology experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Adult hospital setting experience required
• Nuclear cardiology experience required

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department at a teaching facility
• Adult patient population with nuclear cardiology focus
• 1:1:1 patient ratio
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures including cardiac, renal, lung, liver, and bone studies
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager prior to offer
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
