Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. The position requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (N), and NMTCB-CNMT certification with state licensure where required, working 40 hours per week over 13 weeks.

The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them, and operate the scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images, while ensuring safety and accurate documentation throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• BLS certified.
• NMTCB-CNMT certification and ARRT (N) registration.
• State licensing when required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate nuclear medicine scanner or gamma camera to capture images.
• Position patients and provide instructions for procedures.
• Monitor safety and radiation disposal procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS system.
