Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Fresno, CA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment. The role focuses on preparing radiopharmaceuticals and acquiring patient images, with supervision by radiologists and physicians.

The candidate should have ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification and be licensed where required. The position requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and the ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (N) certification with NM or NMTCB-CNMT registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Must stand/walk long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Position patients and provide assistance during procedures.
• Instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety/radiation disposal procedures.
