Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an immediate opening in Upland, CA. The assignment spans 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, days shift, travel position.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience and ARRT(N), NMTCB-CNMT, and BLS certification. As an NMT, you will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision, operate scanners, and maintain patient records while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certification, plus BLS.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift.
• High knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow safety and radiation disposal procedures.
