Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Fresno, California. The role is a 13-week engagement with 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour daytime shifts.

The NMT performs radiopharmaceutical preparation, patient prep, and image capture under radiologist supervision. Requirements include at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT with applicable state licensing, and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with NM or NMTCB-CNMT registration and state licensing when required.
• NMTs must stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures.
• Maintain patient records accurately.
• Follow safety and radiation disposal procedures.
