Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Eureka, California for a 26-week assignment. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and appropriate licensing.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating the scanner, and assisting patients while ensuring safety and accurate documentation. The position offers a travel schedule with 40 hours per week and a tax-free stipend as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification required; ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT with state licensing as applicable.
• NMT must be able to stand for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Position patients and provide assistance during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety procedures.
