Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and state licensing where required.

The 8-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts under radiology supervision. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform procedures, operate scanners, document results, and ensure radiation safety while delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ARRT (N) ND NMTCB-CNMT certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
