American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. The role requires NMTCB, ARRT(N), BLS, and Oregon state licensing, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The position is hospital-based, includes no on-call duties, and may involve floating within the health system. Start date is 11/09/2026 with one opening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (N) certification required
• Active Oregon state license required, or proof of license application and fingerprinting (license required if applicable)
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
• Must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
• Low census mandatory cancellation policy requires notice 1.5 hours before shift start
• May be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All compliance documentation must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the start date
• No felony convictions accepted; any background hits require a traveler explanation statement and waiver/approval documentation
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local travelers are not accepted and candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the health system
• First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded
