Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital setting requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting
• Nuclear Medicine department performing PET Scan procedures
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) or 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM), Monday-Friday
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Must be willing to float within the hospital or affiliated campuses based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active state or Compact license required (if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience required
• BLS certification required, PET certification preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform PET Scan procedures as part of daily responsibilities
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of two contracts total with one allowable extension for day shift
• Travelers must wait six months before reapplying after reaching the maximum number of extensions
• Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, with one major holiday request allowed
• Pre-start modules required, estimated completion time of 4-10 hours
