Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, NJ. The position offers 40 hours per week with day shifts in a facility setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience, a current license, and a BLS certification. ARRT/CNMT are preferred, with comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols.
Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals and other meds.
Operates imaging equipment to capture organ images per physician orders.
Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
Follows hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure.
Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Tech scope.
