Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Brunswick, NJ. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT or CNMT certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper function.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
