Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Teaneck, NJ. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety while collaborating with a clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and ensures safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture organ/area images per physician orders.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
• Follows radiation safety rules to minimize exposure.
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Tech practice.
