Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves caring for critically ill neonates in a NICU, operating life-support equipment, and partnering with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN.
- Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Responsibilities
- Assesses and monitors critically ill and premature newborns, identifying changes and documenting conditions and responses.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to neonatal nursing techniques.
- Performs neonatal assessments, including vital signs, weight checks, and screenings.
- Operates NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps) and ensures proper function.
- Assists with life-saving and diagnostic neonatal procedures (umbilical line placement, intubation).
- Educates and supports parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
