Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. This NICU RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift for a 13-week assignment, with start on 10/12/2026, in a travel capacity with one of our top healthcare clients.

Requirements include 18 months of NICU experience, active RN license, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications, and a degree from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting
• Active RN License
• BLS, PALS, & NRP Certifications
• Degree from accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
