Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapist for NICU duties in Brandon, Florida. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 48 hours per week and 6-hour shifts.

The role requires NBRC credential and CPR certification, with 18 months of respiratory care experience preferred, especially in critical care settings. Travel housing and benefits are provided through the agency.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC and CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations with staff, patients and families, and other caretakers.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
