Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - NICU (Peds-RRT) for a travel assignment in Brandon, Florida. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience and NBRC-RRT with BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS/NRP may be needed in some locations, and travel duties include NICU patient care and arterial puncture.

Expected shifts are 12 hours (nights), totaling 48 hours per week. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
• Peds-RRTs must have NBRC-RRT and be able to perform arterial puncture.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in NICU and other areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, calibrate, and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Interact with staff to optimize continuum of care and respond to emergencies.
