Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Brandon, Florida. The position requires NICU experience, NRP and ACLS certifications, and a valid RRT license. 36 hours per week on the 12-hour night shift, with a 13-week contract.

Experience in Level 3 NICU is preferred; travel-only role. Expect ventilator management, surfactant administration, nitric oxide therapy, and critical patient care in a busy NICU.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license is required.
• NRP certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Level 3 NICU experience, or 3–5 years of Level 2 NICU experience.
• STABLE certification preferred.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• Two professional references required for Florida-based positions.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide ventilator management.
• Perform surfactant administration and blood gas interpretation.
• Administer nitric oxide as needed.
• Work night shift on NICU unit with critical thinking and independent work.
