Job Overview

We are seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week NICU assignment in Covington, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators.

Qualifications

• RN license.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE, 3 Years.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Able to lift 10–20 pounds of equipment. May be exposed to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Compensation

Pay will be based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Includes a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
