Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel Nurse RN in Morgantown, WV for a Step-Down Unit assignment. You will care for high-acuity neuroscience patients, including stroke, seizures, craniotomies, and TPA protocols, on a dedicated neuro step-down unit.

The role features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), a 36-hour minimum weekly schedule, and a flexible rotation. Active BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; 2+ years in neuroscience or step-down ICU.

Qualifications

• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years neuroscience or step-down ICU experience.
• Active RN licensure in the state.

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity neuroscience patients on a dedicated neuro step-down unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and follow established protocols.
• Monitor and titrate neuro medications and telemetry as prescribed.
• Maintain patient safety with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
