Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU role in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have Level 1 trauma center exposure, EPIC EMR proficiency, and a VA or Compact RN license.BSN preferred and ACEN/CCNE-accredited program graduate required.

The position is night shifts, 3x12-hour blocks, with 40-hour weeks and benefits including insurance, 401(k), and access to CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license VA or Compact.
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience.
• Level 1 trauma center experience.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing services to neuroscience ICU patients.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Candidates must not have been employed by this health system within the previous 6 months.
• Scheduled hours should not exceed 40 per week unless approved by unit management.
• Drug and tobacco-free workplace with a smoke-free campus.
• Facility follows a natural nail policy.
• Time-off requests must be submitted upfront as holidays are not guaranteed off.
