American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro ICU assignment in Virginia. The nurse will care for a 16-bed unit with a 1:2 patient ratio, handling stroke and complex neuro/medical cases, while managing vasoactive drips and monitoring resources.

Shift is night 7PM–7AM with weekend work and local candidates within 50 miles eligible for a reduced rate. Requirements include an active VA or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years ICU experience.

Formación

• Active VA or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Must pass an ECG exam on day 2 of assignment.

Responsabilidades

• 16-bed Neuro ICU with 1:2 patient ratio.
• Care for stroke, ICH, SAH, SDH, brain tumor patients and critical conditions.
• Titrates drips including norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin, phenylephrine, and dopamine.
• Two clinical techs support the unit for 16 patients.
• RT equipment includes ventilators, HFNC, and noninvasive ventilation.
