Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Neuro ICU RN with active OR RN licensure and recent Epic experience for a night shift assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires a 1:2 patient ratio, 3x12 hour nights, and flexibility for weekend scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and have 2+ years ICU and trauma experience, with Epic EMR proficiency. First-time travelers are not preferred, travel outside a 60-mile radius may be required.

Qualifications

• Active ICU ICU RN experience is required.
• Trauma experience is required.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Neuro ICU care in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio on night shift (3x12h).
• Float as needed to related units and ED/Telemetry as required.
• Perform chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines and PICC placements.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive meds and monitor critical patients.
