Job summary

Kaplan, Inc. is seeking a Travel Nursing Instructor to teach NCLEX preparation across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. The role travels to multiple locations, delivering sessions with a pre-existing curriculum and ongoing professional development.

You will support students through Kaplan materials, with opportunities to participate in the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching program and related coaching tasks. 20+ hours per week, remote nationwide, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• MSN or BSN with Masters required.
• Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple in-person NCLEX preparation sessions at various locations throughout the year.
• Maintain high energy level and engage students for an excellent student experience.
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development.
• Ability to learn our methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
