Job summary

Kaplan North America is seeking a Master’s prepared nurse to join our New York travel teaching team as a part-time Travel Nursing Instructor. You will deliver NCLEX prep sessions across the New York area, including Staten Island, Newburgh, Albany, Syracuse, Queens, Rochester, and Manhattan.

The role includes paid training, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to support students through Kaplan’s KLIC program.

Qualifications

• MSN or BSN with Masters required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• Teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple in-person NCLEX preparation sessions at various locations throughout the year.
• Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students for an excellent student experience.
• Facilitate learning and learner development effectively.
• Learn Kaplan methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate ongoing classroom management and professional development meetings as required.
• Attend faculty meetings and instructional workshops.
