Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role requires completing a two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and typically 18 months MRI experience, with a 40-hour work week and daytime shifts.

The position offers a travel contract through a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, with benefits including health insurance, housing options, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• ARRT registry (American Registry of Radiologic Technology).
• 18 months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and ensure patient safety and image quality.
• Position patients and coils for MRI procedures.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
