Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The role requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, state registration, and ARRT MR certification with 18 months of MRI experience preferred, especially in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
• ARRT MRI registry/certification required

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to acquire diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout scanning procedures
• Position patients and coils, administer contrast media as needed
• Set and optimize technical parameters and monitor image quality
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with a collaborative team
