Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Concord, NH seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital imaging department. The position features nights in 10-hour blocks with a 40-hour guarantee per week, starting Oct 19, 2026.

Responsibilities include performing MRI exams, patient screening and positioning, ensuring imaging quality and safety, and coordinating with radiologists. Requires ARRT/ARMRIT, NH licensure, and BLS; Cerner EMR experience preferred; travel coordination

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience in an acute care setting.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience documented on resume.
• EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations across specified body areas per orders, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• Screen patients for contraindications, position them correctly, select appropriate coils, and adjust sequences.
• Monitor patients during scans, maintain comfort, and address any adverse signs or concerns.
• Verify patient identity and exam details, document imaging data in the electronic medical record, and ensure accurate labeling of images.
• Communicate results and any imaging concerns to the radiology team; support radiologists as needed.
• Maintain MRI hardware readiness, room cleanliness, and compliance with safety protocols, including infection control and patient screening.
