Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires 2+ years of hospital experience and ARRT-MR certification.

Responsibilities include working in a hospital MRI department with GE and Siemens equipment, using EPIC EMR, and covering 3x12 hour night shifts (18:30-07:00) Sunday through Tuesday. Travel rotates between units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI experience in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS and ARRT-MR certification.
• License required if applicable.
• Recent hospital experience required.
• Prior travel experience required (unit will not accept first-time travelers).
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Proficiency with diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral MRA, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2 weighted images, and CINE.
• Chest imaging and image post-processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based MRI department serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment.
• EPIC EMR system used for documentation.
• 3x12 hour night shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 18:30-07:00.
• Float required between orthopedic unit and main hospital.
