Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires 3–5 years of MRI experience, ARRT-MR/ARMRIT certification, BLS and license where applicable, with familiarity in GE and Siemens systems. Epic EMR experience is essential.

The position features 10-hour night shifts, a 40-hour week, 1:1 patient care, and a supportive team including a Lead Tech/Coordinator. Travelers welcome with orientation provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of MRI experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, MSK, ventilated, sedated and cardiac patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based MRI department with multiple scanners.
• Weekly census of 250–300 patients.
• 10-hour night shifts on rotating schedule.
• 1:1 patient ratio; MRI unit only; no floating.
• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks.
