Job description

American American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2+ years experience on a GE 1.5T scanner and ARRT (MR) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Previous experience operating a GE MRI scanner required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs as part of job duties
• Valid driver's license required for submission
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital MRI department with a single single 1.5T GE scanner
• Averient population requires imaging studies with an average of 30 scans per 24-hour period
• 10-hour night shifts typically Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday plus every other Thursday
• On-call requirement of approximately one night per week and one weekend per month
• No floating to other departments required
• Uses Epic EMR along with Fuji and Synapse PACS systems
• Radiologist coverage available in-house and online
• Perform standard MRI Technologist responsibilities including patient imaging, IV starts, and coordination with in-house and remote radiologists
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Dress code includes black pants with a royal blue top
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as part of the schedule
