American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a day shift in a hospital in Ohio. ARRT certification and GE or Siemens MRI experience are required.

The role entails performing MRI exams across multiple body regions, working with adult acute care, ICU, and ER/Trauma patients, and adhering to safety protocols. Epic charting experience is preferred; travel experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related Allied Health field.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• ARRT certification required.
• ODH certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a large hospital setting.
• GE or Siemens MRI equipment experience required.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Travel experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI exams on abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine and MSK.
• Work with adult acute care, adult ICU, and ER/Trauma populations.
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
• No on-call required; available to work every other holiday.
• May float within the hospital or to another nearby facility based on skills and census.
• Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques with contrast media administration.
• Operate under scope of practice and certification/licensure for medications, equipment, and venipuncture.
• Coordinate patient flow and departmental activities within Radiology.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on needs.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Local radius for Radiology candidates is 30 miles; local candidates are required.
• Open to Premier Health perm/PRN staff or agency travelers with tenure considerations.

• Performs MRI exams on abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Works with adult acute care, adult ICU, and ER/Trauma patient populations
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• No on-call required
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Epic charting system preferred
• May float within the hospital or to another nearby facility based on skills and census
• Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration
• Operates under scope of practice and certification/licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
• Coordinates patient flow and departmental activities within Radiology
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local radius for Radiology candidates is 30 miles; local candidates are not accepted outside this radius
• Previous Premier Health perm/PRN staff or prior agency travelers not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before reapplying
• Maximum of 14 days RTO allowed per contract, requested at time of submission with no changes after an offer is made
