American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 3 years of MRI experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week contract in Ohio. The position requires AHA BLS, active credentials, and compliance with orientation assessments.

The role is hospital-based with a day schedule of 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Friday, plus on-call duties and holiday rotations. A negative drug screen and vaccinations are required; background checks and fingerprinting are part of the orientation process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations.
• Active certifications required with nothing pending.

Responsibilities

• MRI Tech unit within a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Expected to work every other holiday.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required within 12 months of start, updated annually, with exemptions for nurses and CSTs.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical or religious exemptions only.
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility, and open cases will not be accepted.
• No license hits accepted.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Returning permanent employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to this health system.
• Extensions available for up to 18 months total, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this health system.
