Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center in Alabama. The role requires ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and current licensing where required.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of MRI experience and be comfortable in a high‑acuity hospital environment. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures across multiple regions, utilizing GE Artist 1.5T, and documenting in Cerner EMR.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required.
• MRI Tech must hold ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT certification.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Care for inpatient and outpatient adults, with occasional pediatric cases.
• Perform MRI procedures across head, neck, abdomen, pelvis, spine and extremities.
• Operate GE Artist 1.5T MRI and document in Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to trauma center protocols in a Level I facility.
• Fulfill 10‑hour shifts, with weekend rotation and potential on‑call duties.
