Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for an 18-week travel assignment in Newton Lower Falls, MA. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, and collaborate with clinical teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regs.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications before procedures.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment; report malfunctions.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document all procedure details per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.
• Maintain a clean and organized MRI work area in compliance with infection control.
