Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. The role requires hands-on MRI imaging, patient positioning, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines in a hospital setting.

Start date ASAP, 36 hours per week with 12-hour days. ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT certification, BLS, and 2 years of MRI experience are preferred. Travel assignments offer comprehensive benefits and tax-free stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Certification in ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems.
• Current state license if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years MRI tech experience in hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA adherence
• Follow safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
