Job summary

Applicants must hold active radiologic technologist licensure or be eligible in the United States (Georgia licensure preferred). Travel-ready and able to work 3x12-hour shifts are required for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform MRI examinations under supervision in a fast-paced imaging environment.
• Active radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the United States; Georgia licensure eligibility preferred.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Cerner charting system.
• Strong patient communication skills and a focus on safety and quality of care.
• Availability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule.
• Travel-ready and able to operate within an acute-care imaging setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams using appropriate imaging equipment under general supervision and established policies and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, prepare and position patients, and monitor during MRI procedures.
• Adhere to imaging protocols, verify technical quality, and optimize exam efficiency to support patient flow.
• Document patient information and procedures in the charting system (Cerner) and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to support quality of care, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction goals.
• Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice, contributing to workflow improvements and overall service quality.
