Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Austell, GA is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in the hospital imaging department. The role requires performing MRI exams, minimizing patient discomfort, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images during 12-hour shifts.

This 13-week temporary assignment starts November 2, 2026, with weekly pay in the range of $1,694–$1,720 and housing/travel support provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• Demonstrated ability to independently perform MRI examinations
• Strong attention to detail in patient positioning and image quality
• Effective communication and teamwork within a radiology/imaging department
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging exams in accordance with department procedures and safety guidelines
• Set up MRI equipment and position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality studies
• Exercise independent judgment to select appropriate imaging sequences and optimize image quality
• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and monitor patient status during procedures
• Verify patient data, ensure proper study labeling, and document imaging results for radiologist review
• Maintain equipment readiness, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure timely imaging services and effective communication
