Job Summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Prepare and position patients and equipment, apply magnetic resonance safety principles, and select appropriate pulse sequences.
Provide patient instruction, verify consent and screening forms, and immobilize patients as required.
Performs venipuncture, initiates and maintains venous access, prepares and administers contrast media, assists physicians with interventional procedures, and practices aseptic technique and universal precautions.
Evaluate image/data technical quality, manipulate and reconstruct digital data for display, and ensure proper identification is evident.
Use radiology information systems (including PACS) to complete required records and reports, archive and submit images for physician review and interpretation.
Initiate Basic Life Support actions when necessary and provide practical instruction to partners and students.
Work flexible hours, alternate shifts, and weekends; participate in call rotations and committees as needed.
Serve as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating on projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required).
Experience as an MRI Technologist.
ARRT Radiography registration (required).
ARRT MRI registration (required).
Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Must bring and maintain an active license on the first day.
