Details

• Hospital-based MRI department within a trauma center setting
• Schedule consists of 2x12‑hour shifts and 2x8‑hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours

• Performs MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation

Requirements

Additional Information

• Performs venipuncture, starts and maintains venous access, and prepares and administers contrast media
• Applies MRI safety principles to minimize risk to patients, staff, and others
• Assists physicians with interventional procedures and practices aseptic technique with universal precautions
• Evaluates images for technical quality and manipulates/reconstructs digital data for display and physician review
• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team and may participate in committees and departmental projects
• Provides practical instruction to partners and students as needed
• Initiates basic life support action when necessary

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
