Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of registered MRI experience for a night shift role in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Night shift, 4x10 hours, Sunday-Thursday, 22:30-7:00 (with some 12-hour shift variations)
• MRI department with one Philips scanner
• Average caseload of 20-25 patients per 24 hours, shared departmentally rather than per tech
• Techs never work alone
• Some weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating to sister facilities required
• Charting via Cerner and Fuji Synapse

Requirements

• Preferred MRI procedure experience: CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MPR, Perfusion, Peripheral MR, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo, Surface Coils, T1/T2 Weighted Images
• Minimum of 2 Manager/Charge references from within the past 2 years required

• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years after last permanent work date before returning as a traveler
• Current Vandalia Health System employees (including CAMC, Mon Health, and affiliated hospitals) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system
